This is a hand crafted, needle felted tiny kingdom in a teacup. It begins with a vintage tea cup. I scour multiple websites, flea markets and antique shops for the most unique cups. I then decide on a color palette based on the colors of the tea cup. I then create and build the structures by wool felting, also knows as needle felting. The result is a whimsical, beautiful one of a kind world in a tea cup. This one is in shades of blue, pink and yellow and has little flowers and rocks. The mushroom house has a cute little window and is adorned with vines and flowers. It sits upon a small mound surrounded by blue moat and it is held in an unbranded footed porcelain tea cup. This sculpture measures approx 6 1/4 inch high and approximately 5 inches across including cup handle. Entire contents of tea cup is 100% sheepswool.
