This is a hand crafted, needle felted Wee World in a teacup. It begins with a vintage cup. I scour multiple websites, flea markets and antique shops for the most unique cups. I then decide on a color palette based on the colors of the tea cup. I then create and build the structures by wool felting, also knows as needle felting. The result is a whimsical, beautiful one of a kind world. This one is in shades of coral, green, blue and yellow and has little flowers, shrubs, trees and rocks. It is housed in a porcelain cup. This sculpture measures approx 5 /2 inches high and approximately 5 inches across including cup handle. Entire contents of tea cup is 100% sheepswool. Enchanting!
